BACKGROUND
Whirlpool, a renowned company engaged  in production  of  Refrigerators, Air Conditioners and Washing Machines touched the new heights in the business of their products. The success graph was on the climb  but the peak was still far away. The Profits were mounting and it was a difficult decision to take as to how  toreturn a part of the profits back to the society and discharge the Corporate Social Responsibility they own to the society. There were many ways and means through which they could achieve their aim to pay back to the society but certainly there was a best way which was having a distinct edge over others. They wanted to evolve such a mechanism which should expand in geometric progression on its own under their CSR Project. Then they found that skill development training linked with employment was “The Best” solution they were looking for. The big question was how to proceed in this direction. Grooming of a youth by Skill Development training will not only uplift himself, his family status but also spread the positive signals in and around his village and trigger the nuclear chain reaction like situation.
SOLUTION
Care Skills Academy – a skill development training provider company contacted Whirlpool with a well drafted  plan.  Under this plan, The Company proposed to start theoretical and practical training of the unemployed youths at their Noida based Training center. The Academy was an authorized training partner of ESSCI and selected the field of Training as Refrigerators/ Air Conditioners and Washing Machines which was an ESSCI(Electronic Sector Skills Council of India working under the aegis of NSDC -National Skill Development Corporation).approved course known as RACW course. The cost and other expenses of the Training were  to be paid to the Academy by Whirlpool and the Training was free for the unemployed youths from weaker section of the society. The Plan was appreciated by Whirlpool and they agreed for funding the training cost & expenses. Whirlpool  alsoextended helping hand in setting up facilities required for  practical training.
EXECUTION RATIONALE
To give a concrete shape to the plan agreed between Whirlpool and Academy, the Academy  startedappointing experienced Trainers drawn from Industries, setting up class rooms with modern training equipment, Lab facilities equipped with Refrigerators, Air Conditioners and Washing Machines and their Jigs. Training material the form of Lecture notes, Power Point presentation, Audio Visuals was prepared and the Skill Development first batch of students under CSR Project of Whirlpool started on 15th October 2014,  There were some teething troubles in the training of first batch but the same were efficiently removed during training of subsequent batches. Since Whirlpool is a big Indian name, Academy started establishing their branches in other cities also like Delhi, Lucknow, Sambhal, Amroha, Varanasi, Allahabad etc. to name a few.The Skill Development training aims at 100% job placement for certified candidates and would thus aim to be a great opportunity to have win-win situation for Whirlpool, Care Skills Academy  and the  students.The training was great success and the relationship with Whirlpool still continues..
